I
have compiled a document about color theory.
It may be considered fairly advanced, but it includes explanations of physics,
biology, color circles and rainbows.
One thing that is described is that contrary to common belief, adding blue
and yellow light looks white or grey, not green. To experience this yourself,
view this image from a distance. Equally unexpected,
red and green becomes yellow.
As expected, though, red and blue becomes purple.
The Studiolab® application has a "pointillism tool" for viewing automatically combinations of up to four colors in various mixtures.
